Not much new
Dec. 25th, 2022 10:13 pmI made some progress with the sphinx painting. One of the sphinxes is almost done. I tried painting the wings the color of the shadow and then put the feathers in a lighter color over that. It worked well. I need to changed where the shadows are on the sand, fix the eye on the completed sphinx, and then work on the second sphinx. I touched up the sky a little too, so that part is just going to need stars.
My ears are pretty much the same as yesterday. No change in the roof - it is patched and not leaking at the moment.
Of course, the big thing is that our immigration appointment is tomorrow. I'm not worried, but I really really look forward to being done with it. We have to leave early, which will be a pain. On the other hand, it is so early that it is before I normally eat. I might bring an apple and a bag of peanuts, but I doubt I will need them.
