Dec. 26th, 2024 10:09 pmI have finished the portrait! It is done!!!! I'm so happy! It isn't the best thing I have ever painted, but I never have to try to get it to work again. It is such a relief.
That's one less thing I need to do, so I can work a bit more on sewing. I finished the two pairs of winter pants and my "sleeping hat". I don't have anything besides the normal stuff until after the new year, so I can hopefully get to work on some of the much harder projects. The winter hat will be easy. Then, I need to make a new satchel and two jackets. I have a jacket pattern that I will use as the base design. I think I'll line them with either the same linen/cotton blend that I'm using or some other cotton. I'll see what I've got. I might have to buy something, but that would be okay. I just don't want something that is cold and slippery. Anyway, I expect that these things will take _much_ longer to make. Any kind of purse takes forever. Lots of pockets to make. However, I think this one will be a bit easier than the previous one, as I won't have dividers. Hopefully, it will go okay.
