More progress was made today. I got the podcast published, more work done on the hutch, and finished the second pair of underwear. Tomorrow, I'll start work on the hoodie. I'm so excited! I can't wait to have another piece of warm clothing. Also, I've decided to make a couple of waffle-knit shirts to wear under my t-shirts, just like if it was 1998. That way, I can enjoy the t-shirts I have all year. On the other hand, if we ever get our stuff from Russia, I should have more long-sleeved shirts too.
In other news, I have come up with a way to slightly change how I walk which seems to help with my knees buckling. If I just bend my knees a bit more than normal, I have to use more muscles to keep myself up, but I end up falling less. I think that with my normal walk there are fewer muscles working, so when one decides to not work, I flop. With more muscles working, if one stops supporting me, I don't have to fight to stay upright. Also, my walk is more fluid, which means that I'm struggling less to move. The downside to my strange, more fluid walk is that my watch isn't counting my steps very well. I thought that it was strange that I was down to only 4000 steps a day. Turns out that my phone was doing a better job (location happened to be turned on), and I've actually been walking like 7000 steps per day. That probably explains why I've been able to eat more cheese without gaining weight (not that I won't gain wait, just that I haven't recently). Anyway, today, I increased my steps a bit more, since my goal is to make it up to 10 000 steps per day. When I regularly walk that much, it will (presumably) mean that I can walk that much when travelling without keeling over. However, I also walk pretty slowly, so I'm trying to improve on that too.
