Most of the packing is done. We have another full day, and I should use most of that to get the house cleaned up enough that there are no giant dust bunnies, food splatters, or areas that obviously haven't been cleaned since we moved in. If I have dinner tomorrow early, then I can shut down my computer at a reasonable time, pack it and the other stuff on my desk, and then take the legs off the table that I use for a desk before bed. We'll probably disassemble the bed and Joel's desk during the day and sleep on the mattress on the floor, which is fine. On Tuesday, we'll just need to pack up the last few things. We don't know when the moving truck will come exactly, but hopefully we can get it done early enough that we can get settled at the new house in time for bed.
Oh, speaking of the new house, there are two interesting tidbits. First, the batteries for the solar panels are pretty nice looking. I don't know what you pictured, but I pictured old car batteries from a beat up 1980s Thunderbird that are smelly, dirty, and leaking battery acid. Shockingly, the ones we have are like modern tech! They have sleek, white, plastic cases. I haven't been in the room with them yet, but I'm guessing that they don't smell. That's pretty nice. Second, Joel says that there are sheep in one of the fields between our house and the bus stop on the hill. There are three lambs with bells on in the field. I love that!
So, that's today's update. Not surprisingly, I'm really tired.
